Doctor and Master of Science specialized in Botany from the Colegio de Postgraduados, and Agroindustrial Engineer from the Faculty of Engineering at the Autonomos University of San Luis Potosí. I am a Full-Time Research Professor at the Multidisciplinary Academic Unit Zona Media-UASLP since 2016. I belong to the National System of Researchers (SNI) level 1. I have been the instructor of various undergraduate courses such as Postharvest Physiology, Agricultural Food Processes, Statistics, and Statistical Methods. Additionally, I have served as a guest lecturer for the subject of Statistics Topics in the Doctorate of Agricultural Sciences at the Faculty of Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine-UASLP, as well as Advanced Plant Physiology in the Master's program in Science and Local Management at the Autonomous University of de Guerrero. I have multiple publications in peer-reviewed and indexed journals and have served as a referee for such journals. I have also participated as an evaluator for CONAHCyT projects. I have presented as a speaker at various national and international congresses. I am a member of the Mexican Society of Botany and the Mexican Network of Plant Physiology. I have supervised several undergraduate theses and advised doctoral theses.
