Sandra Luz Rodríguez Reyna is a Professor-Researcher at the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí. Her Ph.D. was awarded by the Center for Advanced Materials in Chihuahua. She was recognized by the CENEVAL for her high performance in the Bachelor's degree graduation exam. She has been awarded several scholarships that have allowed her to perform international research stays: Eduardo Torroja Institute (Madrid), The University of British Columbia (Vancouver) and Universidad Politécnica de Catalunya (Barcelona); serving in the latter as a visiting researcher with Dr. Alexander Zhilyaev and Dr. José Ma. Cabrera Marrero. In 2017 she was distinguished to be a practical expert in Automotive Mechanics by the Attorney General's Office of the State of SLP. Likewise, she has also been a consultant for different projects for the industry. She has more than 24 full-length publications, 14 in international journals and a book on Mechanical Behavior by Editorial Universitaria Potosina. In 2019 an Industrial Design patent was accepted for review by the IMPI. In the professional field she has been coordinator of Mechanical Engineering at UASLP, Evaluator of the Council for Engineering Education (CACEI) and by honorable mention for being part of the Technical Council in Mechanical Engineering by CENEVAL. She belongs to the National System of Researchers level one and is coordinator of the Master in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering within the Engineering graduate programs of the UASLP. Her research interests are: Mechanical Behavior, Severe Plastic Deformation and Additive Manufacturing.
