José Ángel Pecina Sánchez was born in San Luis Potosí, México.  He received the B.S. degree in Electronics Engineering, in 2010, and the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and the Ph.D. degree in Electronis Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí, México, in 2012 and 2017, respectively. He is currently Professor in the Deparment of Renewable Energy, Coordinación Académica Región Altiplano, Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí. His current research interests include modeling, control, and fault diagnosis of power conversion systems and eletric machines; signal processing; and renewable energy systems technology.
