Sandra E. Nava was a Coordinator of the Computer Engineering degree for the period 2006-2008, she was a Counselor in the Technical Advisory Council of the Faculty for the period 2006-2008. Since 2005 belongs to the collegiate group calls "Auxiliary Commission" of the Faculty of Engineering. 

She has also participated as a reviewer of thesis and research papers. He is a member of the consolidated academic group of Computer Science (UASLP-CA-69). He participated as a Host Researcher in the “Verano de la Ciencia”, UASLP (2015 edition). 

She had the charge of Scholar Department in the Faculty of Engineering. She was a leader in the Scholar Control process of the Faculty of Engineering, which has an accreditation on ISO 9001:2015. 

In the professional life, the connection with the Faculty of Medicine has led her to participate with the Master of Science in Clinical Research program and with the Gerontology Association. This orientation to the medical area has been taken from her doctoral research which was oriented to the area of ​​ the Elderly Care. She has also been a consultant in two periods with the State Electoral Council of Citizen Participation of San Luis Potosí (CEEPAC of SLP) to be a member of the Technical Advisory Committee of the Preliminary Electoral Results Program (PREP), this for the state elections of 2015 and 2018.

She is currently a Master Counselor, representative of the Faculty of Engineering in the H. Consejo Directivo Universitario.
