He is Archaeologist from the Escuela Nacional de Antropología e Historia, Mexico, and Ph. Doctor in Anthropology from the UNAM. He has participated in 27 archaeological projects and has collaborated in paleozoological, archeozoological and ethnozoological investigations. He directs the "Project worked bone in prehispanic Mexico", the "Project of archeofauna in pre-Hispanic Mexico", "Project Disclosing Archeology: learning from the past is winning the present", director of the Paleontological project Rancho Cordóva, Cedral, SLP and co-director of the Archaeological Project La Montesita, Aguascalientes. He has specialized in the study of modified bone from Prehispanic and Colonial times, and problems in archeozoology, Mexico (study of archaeological fauna). He has written more than 50 publications among books, articles and popular chapters and scientists. He has participated in more than 100 national and international papers in the field of archeology, physical anthropology and biology. He is currently responsible for the Archaeozoology Laboratory, professor-researcher (level 6) of the Bachelor of Archeology, professor at PELTSC-UASLP (Postgraduate Program in Latin American Studies) and Secretary of Liaison of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at the Autonomous University of San Luís Potosí (UASLP).
