Guillermo Sanchez-Diaz received his B.S. degree and his M.S. degree in Computer Science in 1995 and 1997, respectively, from Autonomous University of Puebla,Mexico, and his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Center for Computing Research of the National Polytechnic Institute (CIC-IPN), Mexico, in 2001. He is currently a full time professor-researcher in the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosi of Mexico. His research interests include pattern recognition, machine learning and data mining. He has published several papers in journals and conference proceedings. He has served regularly in program committees of international conferences and has also been a reviewer for some international journals in his fields.
