I studied Industrial Electronics Engineering at the Instituto Tecnológico de San Luis Potosí (1984-1989) and the Master's Degree in Computational Sciences at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey Campus Morelos  (1991-1994). Currently, I am studying the Doctor of Education in Leadership program at City University of Seattle.

My current interests are focused on education and the development of transversal and disciplinary competences using formal methodologies in the engineering area, as well as the gender imbalance in some engineering fields.
