As a teacher, I have taught courses in mathematics applied to computing, basic and advanced programming, and artificial intelligence. As a researcher, I have published in journals indexed in the JCR and in congresses of international prestige on topics of Machine Learning, Evolutionary Computation and Artificial Vision. My areas of research include computer vision, artificial intelligence, and evolutionary computation applied to Earth Sciences. I am interested in the application of bio-inspired algorithms to engineering problems that can be optimized. In particular problems of computer vision, image processing and spatial analysis of satellite images.
