He studied the Ph.d. in social scientific studies at ITESO. He has profile PRODEP. His research interests revolve around the epistemology of the design, methodology, interdisciplinarity, history, symbolism and participative work. He participated as Chief of the Curricular field partner humanist and currently is head of the Research Department of art and design is also editor of the magazine Habitat more design in the Faculty of Habitat. He is a member of the editorial board of the journal Potosi University. He has taught as a visiting professor at the University of the center of Mexico, the Universidad La Salle Bajio, the Anahuac University of Mayab and at the State University of Feira de Santana. For fifteen years he participates in the project language and culture Tzeltal of the Jesuit Francis Xavier mission.
