Mauro Maya was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico in 1973. He received the B.S. degree on Electrical
Engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico de San Luis
Potosi, Mexico in 1995, the M.S. on Automatic Control
from the Universidad Autonoma de Queretaro, Mexico in 2002 and the Ph.D. degree on Automatic Control from the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Mines de
Paris/Institut National de Recherche en Informatique
et Automatique-Sophia Antipolis, France in 2007. From
1997 to 2003 he worked at Centro de Investigacion Condumex, Mexico as a reseacher. Since 2007 he works as a researcher and professor at Universidad Autonoma de San Luis Potosi, Mexico. His research interests include the control of robotic systems, in particular parallel and mobile (wheeled, legged, flying) robots.
