Dr. Amaury de Jesús Pozos Guillén, studied his Bachelor of Dentist Surgery in the Faculty of Dentistry at San Luis Potosi University; he holds a Master of Science in Clinical Research and a PhD in Basic Biomedical Sciences from the Faculty of Medicine at San Luis Potosi University. He is currently a Research Professor at Faculty of Dentistry; Head of the Basic Sciences Laboratory and Leader of the Academic Group of Biomaterial Sciences; Director of Teacher Training of the Academic Area at San Luis Potosi University.

Dr. Pozos Guillén has made academic and research stays at Universities of Osaka, Japan; Louis Pasteur, France; University of Montpellier, France; University of Costa Rica, Costa Rica; National Nanotechnology Laboratory, Costa Rica and University of Liege, Belgium. He is a member of the National System of Researchers (CONACYT) since 2005, currently level 3. President of the National Society of Researchers in Dentistry; member of the International Association for Dental Research and Associate Editor of the Journal of Clinical Pediatric Dentistry Dr. Pozos-Guillén has collaborative projects financed internationally, scientific publications, thesis and collaborations with researchers and international groups on topics of biomaterials, pharmacological-clinical management of pain and oral manifestations in pediatric patients, among others.
