Her research has focused on the study of typography and signs within graphic design and its interaction with neurological conditions. She has published and presented research works related with reflex epilepsies, photosensitive graphic images and typographical legibility factors that can stimulate people with a predisposition in the reading process (cognitive, physiological and/or physical aspects). This line of research has led her to cross disciplines and study the causes that condition the clinical manifestations of epilepsy in multidisciplinary spaces. Her objective is to contribute to the functionality of the design to improve the quality of life of people with epilepsy and other neurological disorders.
