gci@uaslp.mxThe Haptic Assembly and manufacturing system was developed within the research projects. The system allows to evaluate mechanical assemblies in a virtual reality environment. As a result various physics simulation engines, such as Physx or bullet, have been evaluated allowing to create methodologies and algorithms that allow to perform virtual assemblies more similar to real assemblies from the mechanical point of view.
The aim of the research projects is to develop a design and
manufacturing system that integrates the design and manufacturing tools such as
virtual reality, mixed reality, haptic systems and 3d printing with the purpose
of evaluate and implement industry 4.0 tools.
