Received a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering and a Computer Engineering Degree from the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosi. Research interests include image processing, ambient intelligence (AmI), ubiquitous computing, human-computer interaction, and medical informatics. Professional member of the IEEE and the ACM since 2012.
Current research project is funded by PROMEP (Professor Improvement Program) and called, “Ambient monitoring for activity recognition and its context”. This project focuses on the development of intelligent algorithms.
Work experience includes 9 years of in various public and private sector positions. Those that occurred for the San Luis Potosi State Government are: Director of Information Technology at the State Attorney General’s Office and Deputy Director of Information Technology at the Secretary of Economic Development. Private sector position was that of Project Manager at a company called Quad-Tree.
Currently participating in the Dispersal of Science and Technology Network and as representative of the Interinstitutional Committee of Open Government (CIGA) spearheaded by COPOCyT (Council of Science and Technology of the State of San Luis Potosi). Additionally,
