SCIENTIFIC PRODUCTION
Author of 50 research articles, a scientific monograph. Edithor of a two-volume book of Springer's series Nonlinear Systems and Complexity.
RESEARCH TOPICS
Theory of dynamic systems and applications. It includes fundamental results in ergodic theory, rigorous statistical mechanics, topological dynamics, modeling of biological networks, cellular automata, analysis sequences, metastability and renormalization in Gibbsian processes, modeling of the phenomenon of economic segregation in cities, among others.
ADVISORING
I have advised 16 master's and four Ph.D. students.
I currently advise four Ph.D. students.
AWARDS
UASLP University Prize for Scientific and Technological Research, young researcher modality in 2007 and consolidated researcher modality in 2016. The Jorge Lomnitz Adler Prize, awarded by the IF-UNAM and the AMC in 2011, and the Marcos Moshinsk Chair in 2016.
