Biologist from the Autonomous University of Puebla (BUAP), with a Master's degree in management of renewable natural resources and a PhD in Environmental Sciences, both from the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí (UASLP). Since 2010 he is a Full Time Research Professor level VI of the Faculty of Medicine - CIACYT of the UASLP. Head of the Center for Applied Research in Environment and Health (CIAAS-UASLP). To date he has 38 scientific articles, 22 book chapters and 8 popular articles. He is a member of the National System of Researchers level 1. He has a PRODEP Profile. President of the Research Committee of the Faculty of Medicine. He is a member of the WHO / PAHO Collaborating Center for Risk Assessment and Child Health and is part of the Environmental Toxicology Academic Corps of the UASLP School of Medicine. Since 2015 he is a member of the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC).
