I work in the Environmental Geochemistry Laboratory of heavy metals and emerging pollutants. The lines of research that are studied in this laboratory are 1. Study of solid waste and its interaction with soils, sediments, and water, through chemical extractions. 2. Speciation of contaminating inorganic substances present in the soil and water solution, using electrochemical measurements. 3. Study of the interaction of heavy metals and non-metals with soil constituents and sediments, by chemical extractions. 4. Study and degradation of emerging contaminants in water and soil.
