Alberto Molgado earned his PhD from the School of Mathematical Sciences of the University of Nottingham, UK, with the thesis project "Refined algebraic quantisation: Finite-dimensional systems" realised under the supervision of Dr Jorma Louko.  In 2005, he held a Postdoctoral position at the Facultad de Ciencias of the Universidad de Colima for a period of two and a half years.  He joined after that the Unidad Académica de Física, UAZ, in 2008 as a research lecturer through the retention program of Conacyt with the project entitled "Quantization of systems with constrictions in quantum field theory by means of the group's average method". He joined the Faculty of Sciences, UASLP, as of 2011. He is a member of the National System of Researchers since 2007 and has the Promep profile since 2010. His research interests are related to algebraic quantization in gauge theories, Hamiltonian and Poisson structures, boundary terms in Cosmology, non-commutative methods in Physics and field theories in spacetimes with curvature. He is a True Blues lover.
