Dr. Jose Elias Perez Lopez made two postdoctoral stays: in the Physics Department of the University of Konstantz, Germany (1998-1999), and in the Faculty of Dentistry of the Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg, France (2000).


Awards and distinctions

In December 2018, he was awarded the Fernando Alba Medal by the Institute of Physics of the UNAM, which annually distinguishes outstanding contributions to the field of Experimental Physics.

Member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences, since 2004.

Enabled to Direct Investigations (HdR) granted by the University of Montpellier, in 2011.

University Award for Socio-Humanistic, Scientific and Technological Research UASLP, in the Technological Research Modality, as a Consolidated Researcher, in 2012.
