Degree of Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry, conferred by the Metropolitan Autonomous University, Degree of Master in Sciences conferred by the National Autonomous University of Mexico, Degreeof PhD conferred the Doctoral Program in Biological and Health Sciences at by the Metropolitan Autonomous University. My research projects are focused on the development of pharmacological therapies that reduce the distress suffered by the production animals’ fetuses during the birth process, that is usually associated with hypoxia process. My research’s objective is to reduce neonatal mortality and deleterious effects in the neonates that survive such process, thus, reducing economic losses of the livestock industry. Likewise, some of these species are selected as biomodels for the trial study of new-developed drugs that allow to reduce the incidence of ischemic hypoxic encephalopathy in the human neonate, and consequently, the possible repercussions associated with the pathology, among them cerebral palsy.
Personal Researchs Interest
  1. Development of pharmacological therapies to reduce the distress suffered by the production animals’ fetuses during the birth and weaning processes.
  2. Development of pharmacological therapies in biomodels for the prevention of hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy in the human neonate.
