Academic training as Phytotechnist Agricultural Engineer at the UASLP, Master's Degree in Water Use Management in Arid Zones at the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC), PhD in Agricultural Sciences at the UASLP. Member since 1989 of the then Master's Degree in Hydraulics, as well as the Specialty in Irrigation and Drainage, which gave rise to the Master's Degree in Hydrosystems, currently the Master's Degree in Technology and Water Management of the Faculty of Engineering of the UASLP. He has been a teacher of multiple courses in different careers of the Faculty and various postgraduate courses. He's the author of 3 books with university circulation and a chapter of a book with international circulation. He has a patent for software used in the classification of agricultural irrigation water, 17 national and foreign indexed articles, 36 articles of congress national and international, 24 technical reports aimed at the public sector, 6 disclosure articles, 3 memory editor, 6 didactic materials of university circulation. He has developed different course programs for multiple careers. Advisor for 17 master's theses, 1 specialty and 5 bachelor's theses.
In the professional field, he has focused on the efficient use of water in different areas, from agriculture to human consumption. He has proposed projects with a focus on Nature-Based Solutions in both supply and sanitation. He has also been a program evaluator for the National Water Commission and the State Secretary of Agriculture.
