Professor research specialized in ​​analog and digital electronics systems, power electronics converters, as well as control schemes based on passivity theory, model predictive based.

His main interest of research are motivated by the presence of disturbances in the electrical system, as well as to propose solutions and to contribute at  the improvement of the power quality of electrical system, and to provide new technology for power electronics converters to integrate wind and solar-energy photovoltaic systems and its control schemes respectively
