Feminist academic and social activist in search of the right of girls and women to live a life free of violence and in respect of their sexual and reproductive rights. She is a level II researcher in the National System of Researchers of CONACyT, and current PRODEP Profile. Winner of the awards "National Research Award 2018" (FEMAFEE), "Potosino Award for Science and Technology and Innovation 2019" (Potosino Council of Science and Technology in the area of ​​Humanities), "Doctorate Honoris Causa 2021" (OIICE). He has carried out consultancies with state, national and international financing, among which the European Union (EU), the Mexican Association for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the National Commission to Prevent and Eradicate Violence against Women (CONAVIM), the State Population Council (COESPO-SLP) and the Government of the State of San Luis Potosí.

From his academic profile, it enables him to problematize health and well-being in the light of anthropological and sociological theories that allow generating evidence for political advocacy on the issue of sexual and reproductive rights, in addition to generating knowledge for the proposal of public policies and regulatory frameworks. based on a framework of human rights, interculturality and gender perspective.
