gci@uaslp.mxCecilia Sabido has a Ph.D. in Philosophy at University of Navarre, Spain. Her dissertation was about the metaphysical foundation for the Poetics of Aristotle. Fellow researcher at Social Sciences and Humanities Faculty, at University of San Luis Potosí, México. She also taught lessons at Universidad Panamericana, Technological Autonomous Institute of Mexico, University of Navarre and several others.
Recently, she made a postdoctoral program about
Civic Humanism in XV century and the School of Salamanca. Her research topics
are mainly: Aesthetics, Greek Philosophy, Aristotelism, Humanism and New Spain
Philosophy. Works: Considerations on the Visibility of Action in
Aristotle, (Brill, 2021), Pobreza, Trabajo y Comunidad en Vasco de Quioga,
(2020); El pensamiento político de Alfonso de Madrigal, (2016); Ritmo, mimesis y temporalidad en el arte
(2013).
She also has interest in amateur Theatre and
has directed several groups since 2000 including the FSCyH group.
She is member of the Philosophical Association
of Mexico and the National Research System, (SNI) Level 1.
