gci@uaslp.mxDr. Gutiérrez finished her studies in Mechanical Engineering in 2001 at the University of Zulia, Venezuela, worked in the oil industry, obtained a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in 2009 at the Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M), and then a Postdoc at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, UNAM. She has been a full-time research professor at UASLP since 2012. She teaches Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, and Turbomachines. During her 20-year experience at UC3M, UNAM, and UASLP, she has also collaborated on projects with the industry. Her lines of research are air conditioning and generation systems through renewable energies, HVAC and energy storage through PCM, as well as topics related to the subjects taught. She has carried out research stays at the Technical University of Berlin, the Polytechnic University of Valencia, the Polytechnic University of Madrid, and the PanAmerican University. She is a referee for numerous international scientific journals, congresses, and an evaluator for national calls in various fields. She has PRODEP desirable profile recognition and belongs to the national system of researchers, level I.
