Dr. Daniel Noyola holds an M.D. and Ph.D. degree from Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí. He specialized in Pediatrics at the University of Connecticut (Connecticut Children's Medical Center) and in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Baylor College of Medicine (Texas Children's Hospital). Currently he is Professor and Researcher at the Microbiology Department of the Medical Faculty of the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí. He has published more than 95 articles in international journals and is a member of CONACYT's Sistema Nacional de Investigadores (level 3). His research focuses on viral infections, particularly those caused by influenza virus, respiratory syncytial virus, SARS-CoV-2 and cytomegalovirus.
