Teaching (https://sites.google.com/view/jmct > Enseñanza): General Physics, Theoretical Physics, and Nanostructures courses at graduate (Applied Science, NNEA) and undergraduate (Physics Career) levels. Parallel activities include advice and personalized scientific tutoring, both at the undergraduate and graduate level, and writing and implementation of course notes on the web.
Research (https://sites.google.com/view/jmct > Investigación): In silico experiments on nanostructures. The objective is to study the physics of atoms confined in regions with dimensions of the order of nanometers, in particular the structural and energetic properties through metallic atoms. The methodology includes classical molecular dynamics simulation techniques and semi-empirical, reactive, opls-aa potential models, among others. The experimental results are fed back by presenting them in research forums, and they are documented for publication in journals indexed in the JCR with thematic categories in the Physics area that include Condensed Matter, or Atomic and Molecular Physics, or Nanoscience in the Material Physics area (https://sites.google.com/view/jmct > Investigación > Publicaciones).
