The research area in which I develop in this institution is the plant health, particularly the use of living organisms for the management of pests and diseases. Particularly, work with entomopathogenic fungi, especially with two species, without leaving out the native strains, Beauveria bassiana and Metarhizium anisopliae, for the management of pests in important crops belonging to Solanaceae, Cucurbitaceae and citrus. Another of the areas is the ability of these microorganisms to improve germination percentages, as well as the overall health status of the plant, as they promote seedling growth and prevent the growth of pathogenic organisms.
