Graduated with a degree in Public Accounting from the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí (UASLP) in The Unidad Zona Media. He studied for a Master's Degree in Administration at the same University and a Doctorate in Education, with emphasis on Instructional Technology and Distance Education at NOVA Southeastern University, Florida United States. He worked for fifteen years as director of an accounting firm and held positions as auditor, administrator, and vice president in public and private organizations. He has been a member of the teaching staff of the Unidad Académica Multidisciplinaria Zona Media since 1999, as Coordinator of the Public Accounting and Finance program from 2002-2022, and a Full-Time Research Professor from 2007 to date. He currently holds the position of Director of the Unidad Académica Multidisciplinaria Zona Media. He is recognized as a professor with a desirable PRODEP profile, belongs to the State System of Researchers, and has ANFECA certification, the latter with recognition from the Instituto Mexicano de Contadores Públicos. He is a member of the Academic group in Consolidation "Estudio para el Desarrollo Regional y de las Organizaciones" and of the Accreditation Council for Administrative, Accounting and Related Sciences (CACECA) as evaluator and reviewer. He has published in peer-reviewed and indexed journals and book chapters. He is the author of papers in national and international conferences and as regards his teaching and thesis consultancy, he teaches at undergraduate and master's degree level.
