gci@uaslp.mxAlejandra Guadalupe Silva Trujillo is a Reseach Professor at Computer Science Department at the Faculty of Engineering at the UASLP. She holds a Master's Degree in Information Systems at the Arturo Rosenblueth Foundation, and a Ph.D. in Complutense University of Madrid. Her research is focused on the design, analysis, and applications of technologies to protect online privacy, and in particular technologies that offer protection for metadata to prevent traffic analysis, tracking, localisation, or behavioral profiling. She made a research stay at the Computer Security and Industrial Cryptography Research Group of the Catholic University of Louvain, in Belgium. She has worked in technology projects in the governmental and private sector as a project manager and information security consultant. He has been a speaker at national and international events.
Research topics: Information security, anonymous communication systems and privacy enhancing technologies.
