gci@uaslp.mxSince Javier Vigueras obtained his PhD, he has been working on augmented reality, image segmentation and 3D reconstruction algorithms. as well as simultaneous localization and mapping. Since July 2016, he leads the mathematical education undergraduate program, in which he has mainly participated in the application of e-learning technologies. In 2016, he was also co-organizer of the International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality (ISMAR), the main event on his research domain.
Nowadays, he works on fast stereo image 3D reconstruction, simulation of dynamical systems for both virtual and augmented reality, and uses of mobile devices as communication tools to help dead and blind people to learn mathematics.
