I am a dental surgeon, graduated from the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí (UASLP), I did Master's studies in Pediatric Stomatology at the UASLP, as well as Doctorate studies in basic biomedical sciences at the same university. During my PhD studies I did two academic stays, one at the Potosino Institute of Science and Technology (IPICYT) in San Luis Potosí, Mexico and another at the University of Florida in the USA, during these stays I had training in the use of the electron microscope Scanning, Rx Diffraction Spectroscopy, Micro-Raman Spectroscopy, Vickers Microhardness and use of Instrom. With 10 years of studying the phenomenon of dental fluorosis, I consider myself an expert in the area, since I have studied both the characteristics of the surface of the enamel and dentin affected by this pathology as well as its behavior after the placement of materials for dental use . Other lines of research in which I work hard are the modifications and subsequent characterization of dental materials existing in the market, as well as advising and evaluating clinical research works in the area of ​​Pediatric Stomatology. I am currently in charge of the scanning electron microscope (JEOL JSM-6510) equipped with an Rx emission spectrometer (AZtec-Oxford) from the Dental School in San Luis Potosi University, which provides care to the entire scientific community in Mexico.
