Ramón Alvarado Ruiz, professor and research fellow of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences (Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí); SNI (National Research System) Researcher Level Iand member of the UC-Mexicanistas Research Fellowship Group.
His main line of research is the Mexican and Latinamerican literature of the XXI century; emphasizing on the five writers of the Crack Movement. He has published the following journal articles and book chapters: “Santiago Gamboa and Jorge Volpi, a Shared View of a Local and Global Narrative” (2018); “Fernanda y los mundos secretos, Experimental Literature in the Mexican Narrative of the Twenty-First Century” (2016); “Crack Movement’s Literary Cartography (1996-2016)” (2017); “Volpi’s Las elegidas: From the General View to the Narrative Close-Up”. And the books: The Crack Movement – A Manifest and Five Novels (2016) and Displacements in Contemporary Mexican Literature (Editor) (2019).
